The BRD-NET project’s aim was to strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian local NGOs and experts, boost their ability to attract EU expertise and funding for regional development, as well as to improve synergies between the third sector’s and local governments’ initiatives in the Black Sea Eastern Partnership countries by tapping into the experience of the Visegrad countries.

The project offered an international online course on project development to acquire project proposal preparation and coalition building skills, Dialogues of Partners in 8 pilot municipalities to ensure communication and exchange between NGOs, local governments and businesses, which led to formation of Local Development Groups, as well as access to information and exchange through the information hub at www.brd-net.org with essential information for analysis, project development and fundraising.

Project supported by the International Visegrad Fund was implemented in 2014 by the Regional Development Centre ‘Top-Kaya’ in partnership with Development Policy Foundation and organizations from Georgia, Moldova and Visegrad countries.
