The ongoing project financed by the International Visegrad Fund aims at supporting transformation of agricultural and rural development oriented secondary schools, colleges and vocational training institutions in 3 Eastern Partnership AA-EU signatories – Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia, toward cross-cutting, pro-active, modular and project approach learning formula, further stimulating co-operation with agro-business, drawing on respective V4 and the EU lessons learned. Students and teachers from the participating EaP agro-education establishments: Nova Kakhovka College of the Tauride State Agrotechnological University (Ukraine), Agro-college in Taul (Moldova) and Kachreti vocational school ‘Aisi’ (Georgia), gained a nonpareil opportunity to explore, grasp and learn on V4 rural modernisation best practices during various workshops, but also to apply acquired knowledge and skills under their nano-project start-ups as well as micro-financing to the best among the developed start-up ideas. Authors of selected business ideas – Smart mobile filtering and bottling solution for micro-wineries in Kakheti, by the team of College Aisi, Experimental dried fruits from Taul: micro-equipment & testing plots: sea buckthorn & goji berries, by the team of Colegiul Agricol Taul and Easy-fit micro-controlled integrated greenhouse environment management system, along the remote ICT control tool, by the team of Nova Kakhovka’s College of the Tauride State Agrotechnological University were invited to participate in the tailored study-tour to the agricultural and rural development oriented secondary schools Visegrad countries.

 

The project, launched in August 2017 is being implemented in partnership by Society for Development of Płużnica municipality (Poland), Lyskowski Practical Training Center in Grubno (Poland), Secondary School for Winegrowers from Modra (Slovakia), Higher School and Secondary School of Veterinary, Agriculture and Nursing in Trebic (Czech Republic), István Horváth Pálóczi Agricultural Vocational School and College (Hungary), Community Collage AISI (Georgia), Agriculture college from Taul (Moldova), Nova Kakhovka’s College Tauride Agrotechnological State University (Ukraine).
